The family and I had a WONDERFUL dinner at @tujagues_restaurant . They recently switched locations, and it is gorgeous. If you like photo ops and gorgeous decor, you should be here. The charbroiled oysters are DELICIOUS. I also liked the signature cocktail ‘Grasshopper.’

The family and I ate @tujagues_restaurant shopped @riverwalknola had beignets @cafedumonde and visited the beautiful @auduboninstitute aquarium. We enjoyed cocktails at Spirits which is a bar next to Dragos on the first floor.

Celebrating BH 365 days is important for our culture. BHM founder (Carter G. Woodson) dubbed the Father of Black History, intended for it to be a year round event. Stay ready all year by learning black history, so we can celebrate Black Excellence in February.
Reggie and I are living Black History with our 4 year old, Maddie and our 5 year old, Wesley. The theme of BHM is ‘The Black Family’.
