Last week, I caught up with Executive Chef Edgar “Dook” Chase IV. We had a great conversation about the restaurant’s past, present situation and future.  Dooky Chase will be closed until Tuesday, August 11th but make sure you support them when they reopen on the 12th.

Dooky Chase with a rich and beautiful history. It is the home of the late, great and fabulous Ms. Leah Chase. This restaurant has been a tower of strength to the community since the 1940s. All of the greats have made their way to eat at this awesome restaurant. I have been eating here since I was a little girl so it’s really cool to be able to get in the kitchen and make something fun. Today, I am cooking with Executive Chef Edgar “Dook” Chase IV.
