Lynn in the Kitchen: La Boulangerie

La Boulangerie is open with limited seated. It’s a beautiful bakery on Magazine Street and is known for delicious desserts. I never made bagels before, so I was really excited to receive an invitation to make bagels with Chef Maggie Scales. I really enjoy talking to chefs and female chefs are AMAZING. While making bagels with Maggie, we discussed everything from flour to motherhood during the pandemic. The video was so fun to make. I hope you get a kick out of it as much as I enjoyed doing it.

La Boulangerie is a very quaint restaurant with a feminine vibe. The restaurant offers an array of croissants and bagels. The salmon bagel is the Louis Vuitton of bagels. I enjoy a good roast and the congregation coffee is so good. The croissants at La Boulangerie are amazing. Have your choice of sweet or savory. I like them both. My favorite sweets are almond and blueberry. For savory, I enjoy the cheddar and chive. Oooh are you feeling ya girl? The Salmon Bagels are like the Louis Vuitton of croissants. The bagels are toasted with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomatoes, red onions and capers. These are all of my favorite ingredients.
